  • No-Prep Conference: When you attend a “no-prep conference,” you’ll be provided with resources and a country assignment during the opening ceremonies on the day of the conference. Conference staff will share a special student resource website with you and will show you where to find your country assignment.

  • Prep Conference: When you attend a “prep conference,” UNAGB’s staff will email your advisor with your country assignments and resources to learn about your country.

  • Instead of Using a Placard: At the start of a regular, in-person Model UN Conference, delegates walk into the room and find their placards. At the start of a virtual Model UN Conference, instead you will rename yourself on Zoom to your assigned country. For UNAGB’s Conferences, your Zoom name will be: Country/Your First Name/Pronouns. For example: Peru/Jazmine/(She/her/hers).
